	The Challenge: Before the client called us, she previously had a Country French look, several heirloom pictures, lace curtains and flowered wallpaper throughout to match her flowered sofa and chairs. The client was ready for an update. She wanted a “Pottery Barn” traditional style, but needed help to accomplish this daunting task.

The Solution: We painted this living room which had a builder beige color and did a “faux painting technique” on the living room accent wall with greens and a copper metallic color to warm up this space. We redesigned the room by adding copper & green side panels to pick up the colors from the accent wall. We added an area rug to “ground” the furniture in this room. The rug was selected because it had all of the new accent colors which brought everything together. The curved metal wall art and copper colored accessories softened this room. The client is now enjoys a warm, comfortable and peaceful living room.
